She’s one of the biggest names attached to The Lion King, and voices the iconic lioness who urges Simba to take back his throne.

But Beyoncé shared the spotlight as the attended the premiere of the live-action film on Tuesday, and put family first.

The songstress, 37, arrived to the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood with her seven-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, holding hands and even wearing matching black skirts.

Beyoncé, who plays Nala in the film, exuded glamour and royalty as she worked the red carpet in an edgy black Alexander McQueen mini dress paired with a sheer, cascading black skirt that put her legs on display.

The sparkling black mini emphasized Beyoncé’s curves while flashing some cleavage.

From her elaborate jewelry to her silvery heels, the hit-maker was absolutely dripping in glittering glamour.

She styled her locks into braids, and accentuated her radiant complexion with lip gloss and a smoky coat of eye shadow.

Blue Ivy looked like a budding fashionista as she wore a flowing black skirt like her mother, along with a bedazzled jacket, flats, with her hair styled into two buns.

Beyonce smiled from ear-to-ear as she walked the red carpet with her daughter, clearly happy to share the special moment with her youngster.

And certainly Blue Ivy was excited to watch the film, starring her mother as Nala and Donald Glover as Simba.

In The Lion King, a young Simba is forced out of the Pride Lands after the death of his father, Mufasa, who was killed at the hands of his own brother, Scar.

Simba flees into the jungle and eventually, reunites with his childhood friend Nala, who urges him to return to Pride Lands in order to reclaim his rightful throne.

The original Disney film was released in 1994, and starred Matthew Broderick as Simba, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, and Moira Kelly as Nala.
