Superstar Kylian Mbappe said he experienced conflicting emotions when invited to Real Madrid in the past.

In an interview with French magazine Envoye Special, superstar Kylian Mbappe revealed his story when he was invited to Real Madrid as a child. Here, the PSG striker admitted that he was somewhat complacent about himself because he was invited by Los Blancos to intern.

“I was invited by Real Madrid for a trial. I spent 4 days there and seeing all the superstars and legends of the team, my mind was spinning. But then my mother took me to her classroom to clean for 3 days. I felt like I was dropped from heaven to earth.

At that time I thought: “What did my mother think when she brought me here?” I’m very comfortable at Real Madrid.” At that time I didn’t understand it, but now I understand it. I think if it were me, I would do the same thing as Fayza’s mother. Because I have reached the stars, I will have to return to the ground,”  Mbappe shared.

The story shows that the connection between Mbappe and Real Madrid has actually existed for a long time. Unfortunately, the two have never been able to come together even though they were very close to a blockbuster deal in 2022.

However, the prospect of Mbappe wearing the white shirt of Real Madrid may happen next summer. The French player is expected to leave PSG after June as a free agent.

Mbappe can even sign a contract with Real Madrid as early as this January. However, the French superstar announced that he has not made any decisions about his future and will only focus on playing the current season with PSG.
