Observant Fans Notice Ngannou’s Tactical Adjustment Leading to Second-Round KO Defeat against Anthony Joshua.

Following Anthony Joshua’s two fights with Oleksandr Usyk, Francis Ngannou neglected his study at home.

Boxing enthusiasts believe that Francis Ngannou’s humbling loss to Anthony Joshua was caused by his “appalling” choice to convert to southpaw.

In only two rounds, Joshua, 34, took down the 37-year-old Ngannou with a powerful right hand that left the UFC superstar completely stunned in Saudi Arabia.

Supporters believe Francis Ngannou lost against Anthony Joshua because of his tactical move.

Ngannou went southpaw after being knocked down by Joshua.

Ngannou was knocked out by Joshua soon after changing his stance.

Following his incredible performance against unbeaten megastar Tyson Fury last year, many were taken aback by the Cameroonian superstar’s lackluster showing against AJ.

Some, meanwhile, were not all that surprised since they believe the legendary UFC fighter neglected to do his study before his highly anticipated matchup with the British bruiser.

Supporters feel that Ngannou’s downfall occurred as a result of his choice to alter his fighting posture immediately following Joshua’s second-round knockdown.

They were further perplexed by that tactical change because the Watford star and Oleksandr Usyk, who is perhaps the finest southpaw in the world, have just recently squared off twice.

One fan tweeted: “WHY DID NGANNOU SWITCH STANCES!!”

Another commented: “As soon as Ngannou went southpaw AJ landed a perfect right hand. Those 24 rounds with Usyk have PAID OFF.”

A third posted: “Don’t switch southpaw again Ngannou.”

This fan said: “I have no clue why he went southpaw. AJ just recently fought the best southpaw on earth and Ngannou definitely doesn’t move like him.”

And that one said: “Why on earth did Ngannou go southpaw? Appalling decision nearly got his head taken clean off.”

Joshua could get his chance to lock horns with Usyk again after beating Ngannou.

That is of course if the Ukrainian superstar beats Fury in their undisputed clash on May 18.

However, a dream match with the Gypsy King is also back on the table provided that the Mancunican heavyweight ends Usyk’s undefeated streak in two months.
