Angelina Jolie just appeared with a new meaningful tattoo.
The actress and humanitarian showed off a new design on her arm at the Broadway premiere of The Outsiders last week, displaying a tattoo reading “Stay Gold” in a theatrical font copy.

The phrase is a reference to the musical she is directing with her 15-year-old daughter, Vivienne Jolie Pitt – who joined her on the red carpet.
Angelina Jolie’s (48) new tattoo is next to another tattoo displaying an excerpt from Rudyard Kipling’s poem that reads “to the foot of the gallows and beyond”.
It turns out Jolie isn’t the only one with this new tattoo. Justin Levine – the co-writer and composer of the musical The Outsiders – shared a photo of his “Stay Gold” tattoo on Instagram Story.
At the premiere, Jolie wore a shimmering metallic dress ($3,990) from ChloΓ©’s collaboration with her Atelier Jolie fashion line.

Meanwhile, production assistant Vivienne wore a baggy blue suit and sneakers as she posed on the red carpet with her famous mother.
