Salma Hayek looks sensational in a bold gown as she attended the Carol premiere at the 68th Cannes Film Festival on Sunday

She’s one of the hundreds of stars who have descended on France’s CΓ΄te d’Azur for the Cannes Film Festival.

And Salma Hayek completely stole the show on the red carpet at the premiere of romantic drama Carol on Sunday.

All eyes were on the 48-year-old actress in her stunning jewel-hued gown, which showed off an ample amount of cleavage.

The Mexican-born beauty looked incredible in the bright purple number, featuring a plunging neckline and a floor-length structured skirt.

Salma set off the daring dress with a silver necklace and a matching clutch bag, paired with some elegant silver rings.

She wore her brunette locks in bouncy curls and added a slick of hot pink lipstick.

The couple, who tied the knot on Valentine’s Day in 2009, put on a loving display at the premiere of the Cate Blanchett-fronted film.
