Netflix has officially premiered the full-length trailer for “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F,” the upcoming fourth film in the Eddie Murphy-led action-comedy franchise.
Decades after the last entry, Detective Axel Foley (Murphy) is back on the beat in Beverly Hills.
After his daughter’s life is threatened, she (Taylour Paige) and Foley team up with a new partner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and old pals Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton) to turn up the heat and uncover a conspiracy.
Paul Reiser, Bronson Pinchot and Kevin Bacon co-star in the film which is directed by Mark Molloy from a screenplay written by Will Beall, Tom Gormican and Kevin Etten, based on the characters created by Danilo Bach and Daniel Petrie, Jr.
The original Martin Brest-directed film released in 1984 and was a smash hit, grossing more than $300 million at the box office. Two sequels were then released in 1987 by Tony Scott and 1994 by John Landis.
