‘So back in the 90s there was the supermodel era – I used to love Cindy, Naomi and Linda, all of them. And there was a lip look, it was always a matte look, but we’re gonna make it more modern and gloss it up.

She said to use a ‘dark’ liner ‘on the outside’ of your lips and to fill in a bit.

‘Leaving this middle pout open,’ she said, pointing to her top lip.

She then added her JLo Beso Balm which she applied with the back of one of her long pink nails.

‘I apply it right in the middle generously,’ she said. ‘It’s that ultra hydrating lip mask that you can wear all day.’

‘That doesn’t mean I don’t love the glamour, I do. But I also love the girl that’s at home with no makeup and a bun and sweats on and looks like she just woke up,’ added the wife of Ben Affleck.

‘When I go makeup-free in my videos, it is really about letting people know that it’s okay,’ Lopez stated.

‘I love being fully made up and looking glamorous and being kind of the JLo that everybody knows in movies and videos and all that kind of stuff. But there’s also just you with no makeup on and without all of the embellishments that is just as beautiful.’

And she likes to tell her fans that she is makeup free.

‘Sometimes I’ll write, “There’s no filter and there’s no lighting on this. This is just me in my bathroom.”‘

She continued, ‘I know I don’t look how you’re used to me looking, but this is me too, and I love this side of me. You don’t need all of that stuff all the time.’

When promoting her new Beso lip balm from JLo Beauty on Thursday the siren talked about her nighttime routine.

After cleansing and moisturizing she takes care of her lips too, the Maid In Manhattan actress shared she has a new product that her fans will love as much as she does.

‘I’d be lying if I said I still didn’t want to look a little glamorous when I climb into bed at night,’ the Hustlers actress told People.

The Deola founder added, ‘There’s nothing really like a glossy finish to make you look instantly pulled together. It’s become that final touch on no-makeup days and on full-glam days.’

The Beso Balm is Lopez’s latest release but she has been thinking about it for years.

‘This is meant to end my search for the perfect lip balm, so I wasn’t willing to compromise on this formula,’ added the This Is Me… Now singer.

‘The texture was very important to me. It’s buttery and it has a glossy finish. So you can wear it during the day, but if you [apply] a little bit extra at night, it’s a really hydrating mask.’
