Jack Grealish will miss Manchester City’s trip to Aston Villa through suspension

Fans think that Grealish does not want to against Aston Villa

As a result, he will not be eligible to play for City against his boyhood club Aston Villa on Wednesday.

Grealish had only been on the pitch for nine minutes when he was cautioned by referee Simon Hooper.

He was booked for kicking the ball away after replacing Jeremy Doku after 52 minutes.

Fans were quick to notice Grealish would miss the return to his former club as a result and took to social media to react.

Grealish has played twice against Villa since leaving to join City in 2021.

It proved an eventful afternoon for the England winger as he put his side back in front during the final 10 minutes.

Erling Haaland’s low cross found its way into the net, and he rushed into the area to score his first league goal of the year.

All three points were not enough, though, as Dejan Kulusevski equalized in stoppage time to bring the score to 3-3.
