Esme’s Bad Girl Switch Flips, Goodbye Innocent Mommy – Laura Regrets Being So Trusting?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that many fans have been complaining about Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) behavior on social media. Has Laura become too gullible when it comes to villains and their new-and-improved acts?

Angry Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) sob story seemed like it tugged at Laura’s heartstrings on the December 5 episode. Cyrus obviously hasn’t turned from his wicked ways, but Laura’s had moments where she’s willing to consider the possibility that he has.

There’s also the matter of Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) and all the praise Laura showers her with on a daily basis. Esme seems to genuinely have amnesia, but that doesn’t mean she should get a total pass for all the crimes she committed.

Many GH viewers are frustrated since Esme never truly paid for her transgressions. The fact that Laura was so quick to forgive and forget certainly hasn’t done much to ease the fan backlash

Since Laura’s become such a big Esme champion, we have to consider if the show’s setting her up for a huge fall. Esme’s memory has to return sooner or later, so what happens if her sinister side comes roaring back?

Of course, it’s possible Esme could remember everything and choose to head down a better path anyway. However, that would be an awfully boring story – not to mention it wouldn’t fully utilize Avery Pohl’s talents.

This innocent-acting Esme is boring and doesn’t really add much to the canvas. The writers made Esme the daughter of Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Heather Webber (Alley Mills), so she needs to ditch the whiny mommy material and return to her wild, manipulative roots.

If Esme’s memory returns and she reverts to the worst version of herself, it could bring a rude awakening for Laura. Although Laura wants to believe Esme’s turned her life around for good, this may be a temporary fix.

Would you like to see the old Esme come back in full force? Will Laura regret being so trusting if Esme manipulates her and causes more disasters?

General Hospital spoilers say Esme’s total recall could be a game-changer and bring some personality updates, so stay tuned to see if bad news is brewing. CDL will have other thrilling General Hospital spoilers, news and updates to check out, so make us your favorite GH hotspot.

Trans men and lesbians would get IVF priority two years ahead of heterosexual couples under NHS plan – as campaigners slam proposals as  ‘grossly discriminatory’

Family campaigners have criticised as ‘grossly discriminatory’ plans to give trans men and lesbians access to NHS-funded IVF two years ahead of heterosexual couples. Under the controversial proposals, trans men – those born as women who now identify as men – will be automatically assumed to be unable to conceive, as will lesbians and single women. This means they will be immediately eligible for IVF on the NHS – costing an estimated £5,000 a cycle – if they meet the other criteria, such as a body mass index between 19 and 30, not smoking, being under 43 and not having a partner with a child from a previous relationship.

President Joe Biden sat down with Chinese President Xi Jinping for the last of many meetings with the leader of the economic powerhouse, with Biden accidentally referencing an ‘alliance’ with the country’s top competitor. ‘We are the most important alliance – or the most important relationship in the entire world, and how we’re getting along together can impact the rest of the world,’ Biden said, quickly correcting himself after applying the friendly term to a key supporter of Russia who has been harassing U.S. allies in the South China sea and flooding the U.S. with exports.
