After unspecified administrative expenses were taken into account the gig enterprise was left with almost £62million, which is available for Ed, 32, to take out as payment whenever he wants.

That figure is on top of £18.25million the Shape of You Star paid himself in dividends from his record sales company Ed Sheehan Limited.

Ed signed off the tour company accounts yesterday but is due to resume shows in Dubai later this month.

After a few months break he will be back on the road in June playing gigs in mainland Europe.

Earlier this year he released his sixth studio album – (Subtract) which was one of the fastest selling albums of this year.

He is said to own 27 properties in London as part of his impressive £57million portfolio, but the highlight is his huge estate of land in Suffolk.

Sheeran has been an ambassador for EACH since 2014 and most of the clothes were be auctioned off on the charity’s eBay site, with a starting price of £9.99 for each item.
