If you ever find yourself in the strange position of buying Megan Fox some flowers, steer clear of a bunch of roses.
The actor, 37, once snubbed one of her devoted young fans who tried to hand her a token of his love – in front of a swarm of paparazzi, who obviously took pictures of the whole thing.

Then 11-year-old Harvey Kindlon, from London, was one of the legion of fans who turned up to support Megan while she was in the UK to promote Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
Her role as Mikaela Banes, the girlfriend of Shia LaBeouf’s character Sam Witwicky, in the sci-fi action franchise had blasted her to stardom.
So everywhere she went, she had men falling at her feet – and crowds of young lads hoping to woo her.
Harvey decided to shoot his shot when Megan eventually trotted past him outside her hotel in London in June 2009.
The infamous pictures show him desperately lunging towards Machine Gun Kelly’s fiancée while she is being pulled along by security.
Harvey seemed extremely eager to give Megan his gift, but despite thrusting it within inches of her face, she seemingly ignored the youngster and carried on right past him – with a rather disgusted expression.

The snaps of the failed encounter quickly went global, prompting an outpouring of sympathy for the 11-year-old, who was dubbed ‘Rose Boy’ by the internet.
Kids in the playground also enjoyed reminding him about the cold shoulder he received – with Harvey previously telling UNILAD that it started ‘blowing up more and more’.
Megan, who was 23 at the time, caught wind of the controversy during a press junket for Transformers and gave the boy a heartfelt public apology.
She explained: “There were, like, 80 million people everywhere. It was dark, all I see are flashes. Everyone’s yelling different things… and I didn’t know that was happening.
“It breaks my heart. I feel so sad for him. That’s so terrible. That kills me.”
Megan added: “I’m sorry sweet boy, I would never do that to you. I would gladly accept your rose if ever see you again.
“Paparazzi would not let you to me. I’m so embarrassed.”
But the story doesn’t end there – as Kodak then stepped in, offering a reward for anyone who could help track Harvey down.
The photography firm were also offering the boy $5,000 in order to make his dream of meeting the star come true.

Leslie Dance, Vice President of Kodak’s Worldwide Brand Marketing & Communications, told PerezHilton.com: “It’s amazing how just a photograph can connect and change the lives of two complete strangers.
“If this photo is any indication, this boy was really hoping to meet Megan Fox and give her that rose, and we’d love to help make his fantastical wish come true.”
The internet obviously did its thing and Harvey was soon found.
His cousin, Holly Bramley, later confirmed that the diehard fan would be flying out to New York to meet Megan in person.
The plan was for the pair to reunite while Fox was in town for a TV appearance – but their long-awaited meeting was scuppered when the show was cancelled in light of Michael Jackson’s sudden death.
She headed back to LA and poor little Harvey was snubbed for a second time.
Reports suggested that the whole thing was organised poorly and there was never a solid date and time set in stone for the 11-year-old to meet his idol.
Either way, he did enjoy some couch time on Good Morning America and made the most out of his 15 minutes of fame.
It turned out that the rose wasn’t even his in the first place anyway – it was his cousin Cassie’s, who ‘loved’ the actor, and who had found a yellow rose to hand to her when she walked past.
They say never meet your heroes – so maybe the double knock back is a sign for Harvey to take heed of.
