At the entrance to the event, Angie was pictured with her youngest children Zahara (12) Shiloh (11), and twins Vivienne and Knox (nine) who each sported their own individual style to the festival.

While pre-teen Zahara was dressed up in a pretty red dress and cute boots, her younger sister Shiloh wore a plaid shirt and the twins wore variations on grey.

Eldest children Pax (13) and Maddox (16) were not pictured at the event but it’s not clear whether they were in attendance.

Film maker Rithy Panh and human rights activist Loung Ung also accompanied child actors Mun Kimhak and Sareum Srey Moch to the event.

The animation is based on a best-selling children’s novel by Deborah Ellis published in 2000.

The story follows the life of Pravana, ‘a girl in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan who must dress as a boy so she can work to support her mother Fattema and her sister Soraya.’

The Breadwinner is set for release later this fall.

Sources revealed to MailOnline on Thursday that ‘nothing has changed’ with the couple since bitter split in September 2016.

Close insiders divulged: ‘Nothing has changed, they are both focused on the kids and the divorce has continued to move forward’.

A sighting of Brad’s car at Angelina’s LA residence last week prompted claims that the pair were repairing their relationship.

The property is located half a mile from the couple’s old family home in Los Feliz, Los Angeles – where Brad still lives after Angelina’s departure.

For the time being, she focusses on progressing her directorial career, which she now admits was originally an ‘accident’.

The Oscar-winning actress made her debut behind the camera with the Land of Blood and Honey in 2011 and the wartime drama only came about because she was exploring her own interests.

She said: ‘It was an accident — I wanted to learn more about the War in Yugoslavia.

‘I never thought I could make a movie or write one, it was never part of my plan. ‘For me it wasn’t just about becoming a director. I believe our world is stronger for diversity and I love to learn about cultures and I love to work with artists from other parts of the world.

‘It’s the greatest way to deeply learn and know each other is to create together.

And the First They Killed My Father director loves getting the chance to find people’s ‘greatness’ from behind the camera.

Speaking at a Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) ‘In Conversation With’ panel, she added: ‘I like championing other people and finding their greatness.’

Angelina has worked with a different cinematographer on each of her directorial efforts and that’s been a deliberate move as she grows as a filmmaker. She said: ‘They change and I change.’
