A day earlier, the F1 champion attracted attention when wearing a ‘tree’ Burberry blue uniform from jacket, pants to kilt skirt inspired by traditional Scottish men’s clothing. When asked about the unusual outfit, Hamilton said: “It’s quite daring. I really like what Burberry is doing and love this outfit. I looked at different images online and found what I liked. A few years ago, I wore a dress for a photo shoot for GQ magazine and it was a special design in collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger. Anyone can wear what they want. There will be people who don’t understand but that’s fine. Hopefully they can eventually open up people’s minds to freely express their style”. Photo: Alamy
