Designer Cong Tri is a designer chosen by top stars in both Vietnam and the world. He appeared in many famous magazines. In 2018, during the Witness world tour, Katy Perry chose to wear 4 Cong Tri designs to perform. After that, this famous female singer also wore Cong Tri’s clothes many times in important events.

In 2019, Beyonce also chose a dress designed by Cong Tri for the red carpet launch of the blockbuster The Lion King. Not only that, at international fashion weeks, Cong Tri received the trust of many stars such as Adele, Miley Cyrus… He has designed and made many outfits for A-list female stars. of the world entertainment industry.

By 2021, Cong Tri has taken a new step forward. Rosé – a member of the group BlackPink released her first solo MV On The Ground and chose a design by Cong Tri. The design Rosé chose to wear in the MV On The Ground is a design from the CONG TRI Spring Summer 2020 collection performed at New York Fashion Week.

Designer Cong Tri shared: “When I agreed to work for Katy Perry’s big show, I had to design a lot of drawings, even sign a confidentiality contract, send drawings and fabric samples for them to choose from, and take photos. everything to make them feel secure. We are in two different geographical locations, the working hours do not match. At first, our team had many difficulties because we were not used to it. We had to work during the day. late at night to exchange information. Besides, when making costumes for international stars, I have to make 2-3 outfits of the same design to prevent damage to the costumes.”

At first, there were many surprises and difficulties when approaching international stars, but now, Cong Tri’s team has been able to do it smoothly and professionally, taking numbers from afar and ensuring a snug fit when worn. . Cong Tri shared: ” Initially, BlackPink wore one of the designs I used to make, their stylist chose it, not my own design. When an international artist chose to wear it, many more stars followed. different, I’m very “happy”. I’m happy and work harder. I realized that I just keep working hard, falling over and over, when the outfit isn’t done well, do it again… Just like that , will get results”.

Cong Tri added: “For example, when making clothes for Adele, you have to tighten her waist, but also let her breathe and sing. The inside material and design structure must ensure that Adele moves the dress. The dress still maintains a beautiful shape and does not sag. When Adele sings, she often takes off her shoes. My dress designed for Adele must also ensure that when she takes off her shoes, the dress still looks beautiful. That challenges my skills and I It was fun to do it. When it was done, Adele continued to order a second dress.”

Talking about the remuneration for making clothes for international stars, Cong Tri replied: “To be honest, I don’t earn much because this is a mutually beneficial combination and the person who benefits the most is me. They wear it for international stars.” There are many designer outfits in the world. To be honest, many designers have to pay stars to wear them. It’s a privilege for me not to have to pay for that.”
