The poor performance of the Kansas City Chiefs football team, where Travis Kelce , Taylor Swift ‘s boyfriend , plays, is not the singer’s fault, Christian Okoye, one of the greatest legends of American football, who defended the team’s colors in the past. “She has nothing to do with the team’s performance at the moment,” says Okoye. “She’s not on the field.”

Both the Kansas City Chiefs and Kelce have seen better days. According to TMZ, the pop star’s boyfriend’s performance has been falling “dramatically” since the season began in September. Kelce has scored just one touchdown (football score) since October. The Kansas City Chiefs have also lost five of their last eight games.
Some fans say it’s Taylor’s fault. But Okoye defends the blonde. He explains that the other teams were the ones who managed to set up defense schemes to neutralize her boyfriend. “Travis is playing like he’s always played,” he says. “When things go wrong, people love to make excuses and point fingers. Especially those who don’t like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship. But they are wrong.”
Okoye, for his part, says Taylor has contributed a lot to the team this year. He hopes that Taylor’s presence at the stadium this Sunday (31) will help the team go after the Cincinatti Bengals.
