The year 2024 marks an important time for many Kpop idols as they prepare to be discharged from the military, including Jin BTS .

In the coming months, these artists will finish their mandatory military service and will return to the eager anticipation of their fans.

Fans from all over the world are counting down until their beloved idol returns.

Below is a list of 10 Kpop idols discharged from the military this year:

Ha Sungwoon (Former member of Wanna One)

The solo artist begins military service on October 24, 2022. He will return on April 23, 2024.

Jin (BTS)

BTS’s oldest male idol is the first to serve in the military. He enlisted on December 13, 2022 and will be discharged on June 12, 2024, one day before BTS’s anniversary.

Wonho (Former MONSTA X)

He began performing his duty as a community service officer on December 5, 2022. The solo artist will return on September 4, 2024.

Jaeyoon (SF9)

Lee Jaeyoon began his military service on March 21. 2023. His much-anticipated return will take place on September 19, 2024.

Mino (Winner)

He enlisted in the army on March 24, 2023 and has completed half of his service. Mino will return in 9 months on September 22, 2024.

Minhyuk (MONSTA X)

MONSTA X’s vocalist enlisted in the army on April 4, 2023. The discharge date is set for October 3, 2024. Less than 10 months left.

J-Hope (BTS)

J-Hope is the second member of BTS to enlist in the army. The male idol enlisted in the army on April 18, 2023 and will return after 18 months of service on October 17, 2024.

Jay B (GOT7)

The leader of group GOT7 begins his mandatory duty on February 2, 2023 and will complete before November 1, 2024. Since he is serving the community, the waiting time will be longer.

Jinyoung (GOT7)

Just a few days after Jay B, even Jinyoung will return. He enlisted on May 8, 2023 and will be discharged on November 4, 2024.

Seungyoon (Winner)

Winner members begin mandatory service on June 20, 2023. The fans’ wait will end on December 20, 2024 when this is the time the male idol ends his enlistment.
