We already know plenty about Hamilton, who is a seven-time world champion in his sport. But what of the woman romantically linked with the 38-year-old?

Nalu, 25, was born in Rio de Janeiro and has modelled for a number of brands. She is also a social media sensation and boasts just under one million followers on Instagram.

She is also involved in social initiative Favela Seeds. Based in her native Brazil, it describes itself as aiming to be “an educational and cultural incentive center and provider of basic needs such as food, psychological support and clothing”.

Those keen to learn more about Hamilton’s rumoured love interest may have found themselves quickly learning more about these elements of her life. However, others might already be familiar with her name after she dated Kanye West in 2022.

Back in October 2022, West and Nalu were spotted together in Los Angeles. The pair were seen watching a movie together and enjoying a meal at an Italian restaurant.

That same month, they were seen together at E Baldi, an Italian eatery in Beverly Hills. By December, however, the pair were no longer an item.

Nalu was asked on Instagram why she would “stand with a guy who has affinity for Nazism,” in the light of widely criticised social media posts from West. “I’m single. Thanks for the love,” was her response.

Hamilton has been enjoying some down time during the break between the 2023 and 2024 F1 seasons. The Brit finished third in the drivers’ standings last year, behind Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, and renewed his contract with Mercedes midway through the campaign.

“It’s the dream of standing on the top step, seeing your team,” Hamilton said when asked about his motivations for prolonging his career. “One of the most amazing things is being able to look back and having the flag of the nation rising behind you, and seeing the team.

“I remember the first win I had with this team [in Hungary in 2013]. I have a particular picture of 2015 in Australia with the [team] down there in tears – it was just amazing to be a part of that.

“The power of that is a huge part of the drive. Winning the world championship is a huge part of the drive. Continuing to build with the team on the impact work we’re doing, and continuing to push with the team with Mission 44. I don’t know how far that can go and I’m trying to expand it, and that means I’ve got to raise more money.”
