Reports have claimed that Chelsea have already made an offer to sign one Premier League star this month.
According to Football Transfers, the Blues have already made an effort to sign Brighton star Evan Ferguson on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
Ferguson is currently showing exactly what he is all about at Brighton, where he has notched up six Premier League goals so far this season.

Considering his position is rotated heavily with the likes of Joao Pedro in Roberto de Zerbi’s squad, he can feel more than happy with his output so far during this campaign.
Alan Shearer is a pundit who will be able to judge his game better than anyone, and he has already described him as ‘very special’.
Reports this morning have claimed that Chelsea have blinked first when it comes to looking to sign a striker this month, with them making a bid to sign Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokores.
Chelsea bid for Ferguson
It has been claimed that approach has been knocked back in a similar way to how they have reportedly seen an offer for Ferguson done so too.
The story goes on to say that the Blues may still be interested in a deal when this season comes to an end, however they will face competition from the likes of Manchester United if that is the case.
It has been claimed for many months now that Victor Osimhen has been the number one target for Chelsea when it comes to signing a striker.
However, his quality will leave him in demand, and having other options from both the Premier League and beyond is certainly advisable.
After the Moises Caicedo saga in the summer though, Chelsea know exactly what they are putting themselves through if they choose to target one of Brighton’s most promising players.
