Before enlisting, V caused a stir when it was revealed that he was one of the few K-pop idols so far to have applied and been accepted into the Task Force – a known elite anti-terrorism unit. with rigorous training.
However, before transferring to the Special Forces, he will undergo 3 more weeks of training at the Army General Administrative School from January 18 to February 8.

During the awards ceremony, BTS leader RM gave a speech sharing his internship experience through a video.
He shared, “I postponed enlisting for a long time. Enlisting at a relatively old age made me feel worried about many things.
In addition, because I joined the army late, most of the recruits in my barracks were about 10 years younger than me.”
RM continued, “Through comprehensive military training, I have been deeply aware of the importance of the military.
There are so many experiences that I would not have had without the Army training center.
In particular, the night of the operation that we completed a few days ago was the most memorable, walking through the night with my teammates, gazing at the stars during difficult times, sharing encouragement with each other made me feel a sense of camaraderie. that I had only heard of before.”
He added: “Thanks to the excellent officers and platoon leaders, many challenging and unfamiliar training sessions became fulfilling and enjoyable.
I am proud to have found meaning, joy and satisfaction in military life.Β I want to express my gratitude.”
