While Mahomes was busy leading the Chiefs to a second Super Bowl title in four years, work was in full swing on the house.

The 27-year-old is featured on the new Netflix series Quarterback, which provides an inside look into his personal life.

He married his childhood sweetheart Brittany Mahomes last year and his family is growing as quickly as his trophy cabinet.

The quarterback has two young children to go along with his two Super Bowl rings.

Mahomes sold his prior $2.9 million Kansas City property, and now he owns a mansion fit for a king in Cass County, Missouri.

In 2020, the quarterback inked one of the largest contracts in US sports history when he accepted a 10-year, $500 million contract extension.

Before being drafted in 2017, he was residing at the opulent, small ranch house.

However, Mahomes discussed one of his initial actions after inking the contract in the Netflix documentary.

“I signed a 10-year contract extension because I wanted to be here in Kansas City and in this organization,” the quarterback stated.

“After doing that, I reasoned that I might as well construct the exact home I desire.

“I intend to stay in Kansas City permanently. This mansion represents Chiefs Kingdom, which I am a part of.”

In the seventh episode, Patrick and his spouse Brittany are shown seeing the house when it is still under construction in 2022.

Following Mahomes’ Super Bowl victory in Arizona in February, the house is prepared for them.

It includes a swim-up bar, fire pit, and outdoor pool.

Additionally, there is a private movie theater and a fish tank centerpiece in the main reception area.

Mahomes also makes jokes about how his enormous walk-in closet might not have enough room for all of his shoes.

Furthermore, there’s room for what Brittany referred to as a “sports Olympics.”

The house features a golf course that backs onto woods, an inside basketball court, and a miniature football field.

During the documentary, Brittany tells Patrick, “Oh my god, this is the best view ever.”

“I need to start drinking coffee so I can sit out here and drink my coffee with you.”
