While juggling a full-time job as a Software Engineer and her studies, a young man named Tobi Adesokan has successfully graduated from the University of Lagos with a first-class degree in Mathematics.
Tobi bagged his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics at the University of Lagos, Nigeria with a remarkable first-class honors. He was also awarded the best graduating student of the university’s Department of Mathematics.
He shared his achievement of graduating with the degree on his LinkedIn stating that juggling his academic achievement with a full-time role as a Software Engineer made the journey challenging but was at the same time rewarding.
”I’ve successfully earned a First Class Honors in Mathematics! Best graduating student, Department of Mathematics (Pure Option) University of Lagos. Juggling this academic achievement with a full-time role as a Software Engineer made the journey challenging, yet incredibly rewarding.,” he said.
Tobi said balancing mathematical concepts with demanding software engineering tasks required meticulous planning, time management, and dedication. She added that every late-night study session and code debugging challenge was a step toward the achievement.
He expressed his gratitude to his academic mentors, his course adviser and colleagues in the technology realm.
Tobi said the connections made in the software engineering community and the academic sphere created a powerful network, contributing to his growth both personally and professionally.
Tobi also thanked his family, friends, mentors, and colleagues noting that their encouragement and support fueled his academic endeavor. He said he is excited for the next chapter of his life.
