Just four snaps into the game, and he was out for the entire season. A-Rod has been on an almost superhuman recovery track. But still. An entire season was lost, just like that. But it seems he has a backup career in mind – that of a golf prodigy.
As the PGA Tour is set to start tomorrow, Rodgers is going to play as well. Yeah, you heard that right. The 4x NFL MVP is going to play in the biggest golf tournament in the world. And it makes sense. Golf is not at all a physical sport, unlike football. No risk of tearing an Achilles in golf.

Just a few days ago, he was seen playing golf with his O-linemen in Las Vegas. Was it an NFL team bonding session, or was he prepping for the PGA Tour? Both actually. But yeah, to clear the air, no, he’s not switching to golf. He just loves playing the sport during his free time. And the PGA has special matches in which non-career golf players get to play as well. The organization took to Instagram to announce the star lineup for the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Alex Smith, Buster Posey and Pau Gasol. These are the heavy-hitters who are going to play. And guess what? A-Rod won the trophy the last time. Will he bag the prize this time as well? And how much can he win? The total purse for the entire event is a whopping $20 million. However, should the Jets’ QB win the first place, he will get to take home only $3.6 million.
