PATRICK Mahomes’ wife Brittany has responded to critics after finding herself under scrutiny for her interaction with staff at the Baltimore Ravens’ M&T Bank Stadium.
The spouse of the NFL star had a seemingly mundane encounter with the arena’s employees after the Kansas City Chiefs’ 17-10 win in Sunday’s AFC Championship clash.

But a recording of the scene went viral on social media and brought her a lot of criticism from NFL fans.
In the clip, Brittany, 28, could be seen heading toward the Chiefs’ locker room with Mahomes, 28, and sharing a quick kiss.
She then appeared to have asked a stadium staffer “Where do we go from here?”
As Brittany asked the question, she spun her finger around in a circular motion.
The gesture bizarrely caused backlash on social media with fans calling Mahomes’ wife for having an attitude.
Brittany responded to her critics on Wednesday, slamming people’s “obsession” with her on Instagram.
“I take rumors as a compliment,” her post read.
“The fact that you’re bringing my name onto tables I don’t sit at shows your obsession. Stay bothered.”
Mahomes threw for 241 yards and a touchdown against the Chiefs, who booked a spot in their fourth Super Bowl in five years.
Despite the latest drama surrounding his wife, the two-time NFL MVP appears to be in good spirits ahead of the big game on February 11.
The quarterback crashed Travis Kelce’s interview on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, catching the ESPN host by surprise.
McAfee then decided to grill Mahomes over his pre-game antics before the win over Baltimore that saw him and Kelce toss Ravens kicker Justin Tucker’s gear away during warm-up.
“Hey Justin Tucker was gonna beat your a** dude,” McAfee said.
“He was gonna beat your a**, you know that.”
The Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII, taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
