The competition between the two top La Liga teams, Real Madrid and Girona, ended with a 4-0 victory in favor of coach Ancelotti’s team. Bellingham shined with a double at the Bernabeu on the evening of February 10.
Girona is competing for the championship with Real Madrid and the trip to the Bernabeu in round 24 of La Liga is an opportunity for the Catalan club to narrow the score gap. However, the class difference between the two teams is too large.
Real Madrid fielded its strongest squad with Bellingham, Rodrygo, Vinicius in attack and Valverde and Kroos playing in the middle of the field. Immediately after the opening whistle, the home team increased the pace of the match in search of a goal.

Girona played quite confidently and proactively played double-teams with their opponents. However, right in the 6th minute, Vinicius had a quick shot to open the score 1-0 for Real Madrid.
After the loss, Girona played somewhat without confidence and let the opponent pressure the field. Defensive mistakes made Girona pay the price when Vinicius assisted Bellingham to defeat goalkeeper Gazzaniga, doubling the gap to 2-0 for Real Madrid.
The first half ended with the advantage in favor of Real Madrid and in the second half, coach Ancelotti’s team still dominated the game. In the 54th minute, Vinicius crossed for Bellingham to cushion the ball at close range, Real Madrid easily took a 3-0 lead.
Girona almost lost all morale and could no longer maintain certainty in defense. In the 61st minute, Rodrygo left his mark with a goal to increase the score to 4-0 after a delicate touch.

Towards the end of the match, Real Madrid missed the opportunity to score a fifth goal when Joselu missed a penalty kick. Girona could not earn an honorable goal and accepted a heavy loss at the Bernabeu.
Defeating Girona 4-0, Real Madrid continues to lead La Liga with 61 points after 24 rounds, 5 points more than second-ranked opponent Girona, while creating a large score gap with Atletico and Barcelona.
