Manchester United will advise Marcus Rashford if the England star seeks help after his debauchery in Northern Ireland.
United are taking the situation very seriously and are committed to supporting Rashford both physically and mentally to get through this dark period.
This professional help is available to any player, although whether to accept it or not is entirely up to him. Sources say this support is ‘an essential part’ at any football club and it is for all United players, not just Rashford.
It is reported that both Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand have also contacted Rashford to help him.
The professional football players’ association PFA is also ready to support. The PFA Player Support Team is passionate about those who they believe will benefit from their care services.
Rashford sought the help of a sports psychologist after missing a penalty in the Euro 2020 final when it led to him being the target of racist abuse.
