She kicked off the huge announcement by sharing a bunch of Polaroid pictures, which revealed that Swedish singer Max Martin, songwriter Savan Kotecha, and Swedish producer Ilya Salmanzadeh are among some of those who have helped on the new project.

She posted a series of behind the scenes photos and videos of herself and her collaborators hard at work – alongside the caption: ‘See you soon’

Ariana has previously worked with Ilya, who has produced her tracks Breathin’, Bad Idea, and Santa Tell Me.

An image of a large grand piano with a shot of Ilya hard at work on the mixing was also among the snaps, as well as a screengrab of the pop star grooving with a friend on FaceTime.

The upcoming body of work clearly took an emotional toll on Ariana as she posed with tears in her eyes while sitting at the mixing board.

The final upload was a black and white video clip, and saw Ariana wrapped in a blanket as she sobbed on the sofa.

Asked to reveal how she was feeling, the singer was heard weeping: ‘I’m so tired but so happy and grateful, but also feel like I weigh 3,000 tons and that moving is impossible.’

Fans were immediately catapulted into a frenzy upon Ariana’s music news, and flooded X, formerly known as Twitter, in excitement.

One wrote: ‘Can we please talk about how HARDWORKING Ariana Grande is? She just finished a full movie AND an album.. we really have to go ALL in for her this era.

‘Full support, no complaining & preventing leaks no matter what. I love Ariana so much, wow I’m so excited.’

A third added: ‘Seeing Ariana’s happiness is truly so special. She is working so hard for us. I can see the excitement she has with AG7.

‘Cannot believe we will be having this album soon.’

It’s been three years since Ariana released her last studio album, Positions.

As it currently stands, the songstress has six albums under her belt, including Thank U, Next, and Dangerous Women.

Earlier this month, Ariana teased that she was working on new music after she posted a series of pictures of herself working in the studio.

At the time, friends and fans jumped into the comments to share their excitement with her friend and collaborator Victoria Monet commenting: ‘She’s HOME!!!’

Earlier this month, The Thank U, Next singer took to Instagram to share photos and video of herself in the recording studio with her producer

Cynthia Erivo, who stars as Elphaba opposite Ariana’s Glinda in the Wicked movies, wrote: ‘No one is ready,’ ‘I’m so freaking proud of you!!’ and ‘This project is so freaking special!!!’

Since she released Positions in 2020, Ariana has thrown herself into her R.E.M Beauty business and Wicked.

‘Wicked is going to have every piece of me, every minute, every ounce of my heart, my time, my soul, my everything that I can give it,’ she told Billboard in May 2022.

‘My hands are quite full with a lot of other “thrillifying” work at the moment. I am spending all of my time with Glinda, I just was not ready.’

In recent months, Ariana has had tongues wagging with her new love interest, Ethan Slater.

Ariana is currently dating Ethan, who has a starring role in the Broadway revival of Spamalot

The singer began dating the Broadway star soon after her split from husband Dalton Gomez, 28.

Dalton was also in the process of divorcing his 29-year-old wife, Lily, with whom he shares a young son.

Ariana’s divorce was finalized on October 6.

The singer and her new partner met in December 2022 on the UK set of the film adaptation of the smash-hit Broadway musical Wicked, in which Ariana plays Glinda – the good witch – alongside Ethan as munchkin Boq.

Both couples announced they had split within a few days of each other back in July, with Ariana announcing her separation from Dalton just three days before confirming her new relationship with Ethan, who then filed for divorce from Lilly.

He cited irreconcilable differences and asked for joint custody of their newborn son.
