Ronaldo Nets First Goal of the Year and Unveils Unique Celebration as Al-Nassr Emerges Victorious in Asian Champions League Encounter against Al Feiha.

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored his first goal of 2024 – and the Portuguese superstar marked it with a new celebration.

Ronaldo got Al-Nassr‘s opener at Al Feiha in the Asian Champions League, after 81 minutes of the round of 16 tie had been played.

With a smart bit of interchange play with teammate Marcelo Brozovic, Ronaldo was able to get into the penalty box and dispatch the ball past an advancing goalkeeper.

The 39-year-old ran off to celebrate, jumping, before putting his hands across his chest, in a different celebration to his iconic SIUUU move.

The game finished 1-0, giving Al-Nassr a slender advantage ahead of the home leg which takes place next week, as they look to secure a spot in the Asian Champions League quarter-finals.

Ronaldo and Brozovic shared a give-and-go, before the Croatian midfielder flicked the ball into the penalty area, where the Portuguese star was able to volley the ball into the net, past Al-Feiha’s Serbian goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic.

Due to the Asian Cup, there has been no competitive club action for Al-Nassr, and whilst there was a visit to China during his extended break, he wasn’t able to play.

The injury left him cheering from the stands as Al-Nassr crushed Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami 6-0.

At the weekend, Ronaldo stormed off the pitch after watching Al-Hilal’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic win the MVP award at the Riyadh Cup final.

Al-Nassr lost the Riyadh Seasons Cup final 2-0, and Ronaldo launched his runners-up medal high into the stands at the end of the game.

Before next week’s return leg, Al-Nassr host Al Fateh in a league game on Saturday night, their first Saudi Pro League game since December.
