There is much excitement in the Real Madrid camp for the season ahead, primarily because of Kylian Mbappe, who is likely to join the club on a free transfer.
However, other than Mbappe, Real Madrid fans are also excited about the arrival of Endrick. The young forward, regarded as one of the most talented players to come out of Brazil in recent years, is set to join the Real Madrid camp in the coming summer.
Endrick has made waves with his performances in his native Brazil, with the 17-year-old even representing the Brazilian national team.
Endrick likely to wear number nine kit
It was earlier reported that Endrick is likely to don the number nine kit for Real Madrid next season.
But that had come under doubt following the recent Mbappe links. If the Frenchman does come to Santiago Bernabeu, one would expect him to claim one of the main shirt numbers, such as #7, #9, or #10.

As things stand, Vinicius Junior already wears the #7 kit whereas Luka Modric dons the #10 jersey. Number nine, on the other hand, has been vacant since Karim Benzema’s exit last summer.
However, as per MARCA, Endrick still remains the favorite to claim the number nine kit at Real Madrid next season. The Brazilian, after all, is a pure center forward and it does make sense for him to wear the number nine kit.
Which kit will Mbappe wear next season?
Even if Endrick claims the number nine shirt at Real Madrid next season, Kylian Mbappe always has the option of donning the number ten shirt.
The number is currently occupied by Luka Modric. But the Croatian is out of contract at the end of the season and is unlikely to renew his deal.
Modric’s exit could pave the way for Mbappe to assume the number shirt, which was previously worn by Eden Hazard before he eventually left Santiago Bernabeu.
