She’s an international pop sensation.

And now Ariana Grande, 28, has launched her own make-up brand named r.e.m. beauty, after working on it in secret for two years, and admitted to Allure: ‘It was so hard to keep a secret for this long!’

The singer’s first ‘drop’ focuses mainly on products for the eyes, because, she said they are: ‘our main gateways to our dreams, our emotions, our everything.’

Ariana has created fine-point eyeliner markers, liquid eye shadows in a range of matte shades and glitters, and a mascara.

Announcing her make-up line while gracing the cover of Allure, she said of the power of eyes: ‘They’re our main storytellers and sources of communication. I feel like you can emote more with your eyes than you can articulate sometimes.’

Asked if she was concerned about being another pop star who has gone into the beauty industry, she insisted it wasn’t a fear she ever had.

‘Because you can never have enough makeup, just like you can never have enough music,’ she brilliantly explained.

Discussing the type of look that inspired her to create r.e.m. beauty, Ariana told the publication: ‘I’ve always sort of gravitated towards the ’50s and ’60s and ’70s for glamour references.

‘I’ve always pictured myself in a different time period. I’ve always wanted to wear that makeup, wear that hair, wear those outfits, be those performers.’

Ariana also recalled how it was men who taught her how to apply make-up; with one MUA at Nickelodeon in particular and drag queens when she first starting gigging.

The singer is going to be busier than ever after it was announced in March that she would be joining The Voice as a coach for season 21.

Ariana previously appeared on the show in May 2016 during the season 10 finale when she performed Into You and joined then-coach Christina Aguilera, 40, for a duet of Dangerous Woman.

She also performed during the season 11 finale of The Voice in December 2016 when she teamed up with Stevie Wonder, 71, for their collaboration Faith.

The pop star will be replacing Nick Jonas, 28, who was a coach on season 20.

Only recently, Ariana married real estate agent Dalton Gomez in May at her home in Montecito, California.
