While the film has the appearance of a music video, Rihanna has hinted it is more beauty-focused. Both of her Fenty Skin and Fenty Beauty brands are tagged, and she also posted the Instagram with Sephora, which sells her lines.

For those hoping for new Rihanna music, there is a good chance that is coming this year, too. Rihanna spoke to British Vogue last year about how she was hoping to release an album in 2023. “I want it to be this year,” she said then. “Like, honestly, it’d be ridiculous if it’s not this year. But I just want to have fun. I just want to make music and make videos.”

She also addressed her high standards for her work, acknowledging her perfectionist tendencies might be getting in the way. I realized that if I keep waiting until this feels right and perfect and better, maybe it’s going to keep taking forever and maybe it’ll never come out and no, I’m not down to that,” she said. “So I want to play. And by play, I mean I have my ideas in my head, but I can’t say them out loud yet.”

Rocky then gave fans a promising update on Rihanna’s album progress in 2024. He was asked about her new album after posing with a fan last month. He responded, “She’s working on it.”

Treasurer Jim Chalmers has now indicated he would be unwilling to compromise with the Greens to get the bill through before the next election, which is due by May 2025.
