What beautiful mysteries will we learn in the Aaron Rodgers biography coming soon?

New York Times bestselling author Ian O’Connor announced the upcoming book “Out of the Darkness: The Mystery of Aaron Rodgers,” set to publish in August, thereby cornering the seldom-explored market of Aaron Rodgers Content (we joke, but we’re culpable, so we joke without laughing too loudly).

O’Connor is no stranger to bestselling sports biographies, profiling Bill Belichick, Derek Jeter, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus in past works. O’Connor has been a sports columnist in his career for a number of sports publications, including ESPN and USA TODAY.

The book is slated to land Aug. 13. O’Connor joked on X Wednesday that he’s cheering for a New York Jets-Green Bay Packers Super Bowl to juice sales. Which would be nice for him, but perhaps not the collective blood pressure of Packers fandom.

The book is available for pre-order on Amazon for $29.99. The book summary cites Rodgers as “among the most mysterious and polarizing figures in the modern-day national pastime that is pro football.”

The use of Rodgers’ infamous “darkness retreat” as a titular reference is our favorite part of the book so far.

More from Amazon: “From his controversial Covid stance to his methods of spiritual awakening to his estrangement from his family to his high-profile romances to his devastating Achilles injury a mere four plays into his New York Jets career, Rodgers has long dominated the NFL’s news cycle.”

Rodgers, of course, has spent all but four snaps in his illustrious 19-year career with the Packers, with a Super Bowl title to his name and a place among the all-time great quarterbacks in NFL history. Now 40 years old, he’ll look to make a comeback from a torn Achilles with the Jets in 2024.

O’Connor’s book “Coach K: The Rise and Reign of Mike Krzyzewski” published in 2022, in case Wisconsin sports fans want to relive the 2015 NCAA championship game while they’re at it.
