It is no secret that Real Madrid are well on their way to finalizing an agreement with Kylian Mbappe, who looks set to join the club on a free transfer this coming summer.
Mbappe’s exit speculation has been further fueled by the changing gameplan from PSG coach Luis Enrique, who has opted to either leave out or give limited minutes to Mbappe in recent matches.
Amid Mbappe’s shifting role at PSG, Fabrizio Romano has issued an important update on the Frenchman’s future.
PSG aware of Mbappe’s negotiations
In his update, Romano claims that PSG are well aware of Mbappe’s ongoing negotiations with Real Madrid right now.
It appears the French giants now feel helpless in their efforts to try and convince the attacker to renew his contract at Parc des Princes.

Earlier reports indicate that Mbappe may soon inform PSG of his decision to join Real Madrid. Only after that, PSG are expected to issue a public statement.
Fabrizio Romano, though, clarifies there is no connection between the ongoing sequence of Mbappe’s game time and his negotiations with Real Madrid.
The PSG administration has not informed Luis Enrique that Mbappe will be leaving the club, just yet. Enrique’s recent selection changes, therefore, are not directly linked with the Frenchman’s uncertain future at the club.
It appears the Spanish tactician, who is one of Barcelona’s ideal replacement options for Xavi Hernandez this coming summer, is trying to analyse the team’s work without the presence of Mbappe.
That is why he has opted to offer the Frenchman minimal game-time in recent matches. The results have been quite mixed, with PSG notably drawing their last two league matches.
