Penelope Kvyat is the daughter of former Formula 1 driver Daniil Kvyat and three-time F1 world champion Nelson Piquet’s daughter, Kelly Piquet. After Kelly Piquet’s relationship with Daniil Kvyat ended, she and her daughter Penelope moved with her current partner Max Verstappen.
Ardent fans and followers of the couple have frequently suggested Max Verstappen’s influence on Penelope to be akin to a father figure, but Verstappen has debunked this. The Dutchman claims that though he sees her every day, he deems it important that Penelope have a good relationship with her biological father.

Penelope can frequently be seen on Verstappen’s streams as he competes in sim racing. Penelope, affectionately called P by Verstappen, often interrupts him as he races, making him take a small break to interact with the four-year-old.

However, despite the extremely close-cut battles, drama and statements made on each side through the course of their rivalry, the Dutchman feels that he does not need “that kind” of rivalry. Verstappen claims that his relationship with Hamilton is completely normal privately.
