Rashford is accused of intentionally ‘breaking the chair’ of Ten Hag.

Former famous player Jamie Redknapp harshly evaluated Man Utd’s performance in the dramatic 1-1 draw against Brentford and questioned the aspirations of Erik ten Hag’s students.

MU seemed to have won Brentford’s away field when substitute Mason Mount scored in the 6th minute of injury time. However, the home team was able to retain 1 point when Kristoffer Ajer

fixed the score. tied 1-1

just 3 minutes later. Overall, this is an acceptable result for MU, and can even be considered lucky for coach Erik ten Hag’s team, as they played completely behind their opponents.

In total, Brentford launched 31 shots, the most ever in a Premier League match. They are only 2 times away from touching the ball in Man Utd’s penalty area to equal Man City’s Premier League record (87 times). And they also put the ball into MU’s vertical post and crossbar 4 times. That could be considered Brentford’s best performance since the beginning of the season but they were unlucky to win all 3 points.

Sky Sport expert Jamie Redknapp during the broadcast affirmed that MU’s performance deserved to open up the prospect of coach Ten Hag being fired.

Many MU players played under their strength in the Brentford draw

”Those are the performances that get the coach fired. Lack of effort. If they really like this coach and want to play for him, they will do something else. I saw a lot of players walking around the field and looking like they didn’t care about the outcome of the match. They must remember that they are playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world,” Redknapp shared.

Redknapp felt United striker Marcus Rashford epitomized that attitude, saying that at half-time he looked like he was “strolling around like he was having a bit of fun out there”.

”Rashford is a player with a lot of talent. He has everything, with an incredible physique. Rashford can run, dribble, can shoot, and scored 30 goals last year. Now, he seems to no longer have his football inspiration,” the former British player added.

The Brentford draw left Man United eight points behind fifth-placed Tottenham and 11 points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa, who have played one match more. There are only 9 matches left in the season and the Red Devils’ prospects of winning a Champions League spot right now are very slim.
