Conor McGregor’s comeback camp is in full swing.
At the end of the landmark UFC 300, it was announced that the former dual-weight champion will make his eagerly anticipated return to the Octagon against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 on June 29.

McGregor has ramped up his training since then and has been sharing pictures from his backyard gym on social media.
On Thursday, ‘Notorious’ uploaded 10 images to Instagram to give his 47.5 million followers a glimpse at what he’s working on ahead of his fight in Las Vegas this summer.
Most of them were typical of an MMA fight camp as McGregor is seen hitting pads, stretching, and walking around the cage at the end of a gruelling session.
However, the last two pictures highlighted the fact he had a couple of unlikely guests interrupt his training day.
The first was a shot of a urine sample, presumably taken by the UFC’s drug testing agents, who are tasked with keeping MMA’s premier promotion clean.
Another photo bizarrely shows a barber chopping away at McGregor’s hair as he sits in front of the cage he has been training in.
The post was captioned: “Ten rounds in the 18oz. Drug tested. Haircut.”
McGregor hasn’t fought since breaking his leg during a trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021 – but he’s been fully fit for some time.

The 35-year-old branched out into the movie business and earned rave reviews for his acting debut in Road House during his lengthy spell on the sidelines.
In an exclusive interview with talkSPORT’s MMA channel, McGregor distanced himself from a career in Hollywood and recommitted himself to fighting full-time.
Now, he wants to stop Chandler with the same leg that lost him his last fight.
“God bless medical science,” McGregor said on This Life of Mine with James Corden.
“God bless my pockets, my net worth and, you know, being able to afford care at the highest, highest level. I had the best care.
“I am ‘Terminator’ now. I have a titanium rod that goes into the knee and down to the bone, right down to my ankle.
“It’s unbreakable, so I have free reign to kick now, so I’m ready to go and I’m excited. I wish for and I will work for landing this kick with this steel bar in my leg against an opponent and getting them out of there.
“I want to see a picture of myself in the Octagon with my leg broken, and then I want to see a picture of myself in the octagon with my leg wrapped around my opponent’s neck or head and putting him out and side by side.”
