According to multiple reports, the rap star celebrated his birthday on Dec. 4 with a lavish, star-studded party thrown by his wife Beyoncé at the Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte vineyards near the French wine region of Bordeaux.

The party was said to include a luxurious chateau dinner, private flights and trips on a specially chartered Venice Simplon Orient Express train, as reported by the French news network TF1.

The Renaissance artist, 42, Rihanna, Kris Jenner, Ellen Pompeo and Lisa of BLACKPINK were among the A-listers who were reportedly guests and in the area at the time.

Attendees spent their stay at the five-star spa and hotel Les Sources de Caudalie, which is on the vineyards’ property. The 64-room luxury property was privatized for the duration of their stay for several days, per TF1.

During the multi-day event, the guests went on excursions to several of Bordeaux’s most celebrated winemaking estates. Partygoers enjoyed bottles of fine and rare wines at Chateau Yquem and Cheval Blanc, which are properties of the luxury house LMVH, to whom JAY-Z sold 50% of his champagne house Arnaud de Brignac in 2021. A tasting at Château Pétrus was also arranged — and to commemorate JAY-Z”s birth year, bottles of the 1969 vintage were served there.

The Venice Simplon Orient Express, which the Roc Nation co-founder is said to have traveled by, is owned by the Belmond group out of London.

Ahead of his own birthday celebration, the music mogul was photographed attending the birthday party for his business partner, Roc Nation co-founder and Vice Chairman Jay Brown.

The rap icon was spotted as he left the party at the Les Sources de Caudalie hotel. He appeared to be relaxed, walking out with a beverage in hand, and was dressed comfortably in an oversized black beanie, a black Puma pull-over and black track pants, paired with Timberland boots.

On JAY-Z’s birthday, Roc Nation Senior Vice President Lenny Santiago gave him a thoughtful shoutout on Instagram by sharing a photo of the recording artist at Brown’s party. In the shot shared to Santiago’s photography account, the “Empire State of Mind” artist stood outside of the property with his sleek, black peacoat while smiling and holding a wine glass.

“BROOKLYN TO BORDEAUX. 🍇,” he wrote in the caption. “MORE LIFE TO MY BROTHER, THE 🐐.”

The hitmaker’s festivities with family and friends came shortly after he stepped out to support Queen Bey at the Los Angeles and London premieres of her concert film, Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé.

The “Break My Soul” singer herself shared a handful of photos of the couple at the events on Instagram. Following the late November L.A. event at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater, she posted an adorable shot of the two smiling at each other inside the cinema, and after the Dec. 1 worldwide premiere, she shared candid photos of them enjoying a celebratory dinner.

The film, which hit No. 1 at the box office over its debut weekend, features performance and behind-the-scenes footage of the pop superstar’s record-breaking Renaissance World Tour. The rap star and their children —  Blue Ivy, 11, and 6-year-old twins Rumi and Sir — also make an appearance.
