Boruto’s Two Blue Vortex Teases an Unexpected Next Big Villain, Defying Fan Expectations

The most recent installment of Boruto, titled “Two Blue Vortex,” dropped significant hints about the potential emergence of the series’ next major antagonist, surprising fans with an unexpected candidate for the role. Despite Code and Kawaki proving inadequate against Boruto’s enhanced prowess, a new formidable contender, Daemon, has entered the scene, showcasing unparalleled strength that could make him the ideal adversary for Boruto.

Following Boruto’s decisive defeat of Code, who was previously deemed a formidable opponent, Daemon stands out as the only character capable of challenging Boruto’s might. His mastery of the Rasengan Uzuhiko further underscores his threat level. Daemon, who has lingered on the sidelines for an extended period, may finally seize the spotlight in Part 2 of Boruto.

In a pivotal moment, as Boruto unleashed the Rasengan Uzuhiko, Daemon astutely recognized the technique’s origin and mechanics. This insight not only reaffirms Daemon’s formidable abilities but also positions him as a potential replacement for Code as the primary antagonist.

Daemon, along with his counterpart Eida, is a creation of Amado designed to combat Ishikki. Originally confined by Boro due to their overwhelming power, they later formed an alliance with Code, only to betray him and seek refuge in the Hidden Leaf village. Daemon’s strength became evident when he effortlessly defeated Code, prompting even the vengeful Code to acknowledge his superiority.

Daemon’s extraordinary abilities include the automatic redirection of an opponent’s attack back towards them, triggered simply by the thought of harming Daemon. Modeled after the divine abilities of the Otsutsuki god Shibai, Daemon’s powers, like his sister Eida’s Omnipotence, were crafted by Amado. However, his vulnerability to long-range attacks, contingent on physical contact, presents a potential weakness.

As Boruto surpasses previous levels of strength, having vanquished both Code and Kawaki without relying on his Karma, the narrative necessitates the introduction of a new formidable adversary. Daemon, with his overpowering abilities and previous foreshadowing in the series, emerges as a fitting candidate. His potential role as a significant antagonist would provide Boruto with a genuinely challenging foe, especially considering Daemon’s strength surpasses even that of Ishikki and Naruto, according to Amado.

The stage is set for Daemon to become the first test of Boruto’s enhanced abilities. As the series unfolds, fans eagerly anticipate how Boruto will confront this new and imposing threat. “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex” is currently available on Viz Media and Manga Plus.
