As stated, actors have their good and bad days. Anne Hathaway shined in her role as Selina Kyle aka Catwoman in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises in 2012. What many people do not know is that Jessica Biel also auditioned for the role when Hathaway wasn’t even interested in Catwoman!

In an interview, Biel, who is known for portraying the role of Abigail Whistler in the Blade franchise, revealed that she was quite a bit heartbroken after getting rejected. The role instead went on to Anne Hathaway and much to her surprise, she did not even know that she was auditioning for the role of Catwoman! In an interview with BBC Radio 1, the actress recalled that she had prepared for the role of Harley Quinn and had fully committed to the character. It wasn’t until an hour had passed that Hathaway realized her mistake.
