During the women’s podium training, the 26-year-old flawlessly performed the Yurchenko double pike vault.

The Yurchenko double pike is said to be the most challenging of gymnastic elements.

It was perfectly executed by Simone twice in the training sessions.

In 2021, she became the first female athlete to have successfully it without any mistakes at the GK U.S. Classic.

Because of this, Simone has submitted for it to be named after her in the world championships.

If she performs it without falling in the championships, it will be named Biles II.

During her floor routine, Simone showed off her stunning dancing skills and balance as she performed many backflips.

She spun around the bar and perfectly landed on the beam.

The training clips come after she confirmed that she wants to compete in the 2024 Olympics – but admitted she ‘will have to take care of herself’ more than she did in Tokyo and is undergoing therapy to ‘make sure everything is aligned’ after she suffered from mental health issues that saw her forced to withdraw from multiple events at the 2020 Games.

The gymnast made a triumphant return to the sport last month – following a two-year hiatus.

At 26, she will be the oldest US woman to compete at worlds in more than 50 years, after she narrowly secured a win over silver medalist Shilese Jones in the all-around competition on the first day of selection camp in Katy, Texas.

She’s the only US woman in history to be selected to compete at six world championships, which will be held in Antwerp, Belgium later this month.

The elite gymnast has become the oldest US women’s all-around champion in modern history to make a world team since at least 1970, when Doris Fuchs Brause competed at the 1966 Worlds at age 28.

In 2019, she also made history after landing a sky-high triple-twisting double tuck in a training session for the competition – a move previously only performed by a man.

After her hiatus, she revealed that she has her heart set on competing the Games next summer in Paris, France, during an appearance on the Today show.

The seven-time Olympic medalist stunned everyone after she announced midway through the Tokyo Olympics in the summer of 2021 that she would not be partaking in four out of five event finals.

At the time, she said she was suffering from something called ‘the twisties’ – a mental block that causes gymnasts to feel like they are ‘lost in the air.’

She later hinted that it also had to due with the 𝑠e𝑥ual abuse she had suffered at the hands of pedophile doctor Larry Nassar.
