The movie is set amid Paris’ low classes in the 1860s, but the glamorous actresses at the Los Angeles premiere of In Secret on Thursday were a far cry from the conservative style of that era.

Sarah Paulson in particular turned a cute outfit into a racy one as she sported a pretty blouse that would have been demure if it wasn’t totally sheer.

The American Horror Story star’s top had strategically placed black sequins and white trim in order to protect her modesty.

Sarah teamed it with a black A-line skirt and matching patent pumps which left a small tattoo on her foot visible.

The 38-year-old picked dewy make-up to best highlight her youthful complexion and rounded off her look with pale pink lipstick.

Sarah has appeared in all three seasons of American Horror Story to date, in Murder House as Billie Dean Howard, Asylum as Lana Winters and Coven as Cordelia Foxx.

The actress’ career is going from strength to strength and she scooped a Critics’ Choice TV Award for Best Supporting Actress In A Miniseries Or Movie last year for her role in American Horror Story: Asylum.

Sarah also had a starring role in 12 Years A Slave as Mistress Mary Epps, which saw the cast earn a nomination at the Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

The blonde, who additionally starred in Mud, posed up at the In Secret premiere, held at the ArcLight Hollywood, with the film’s leading lady, Elizabeth Olsen.

The 24-year-old was also cutting a 𝑠e𝑥y figure in an unusual black dress which reached her ankles but had a neckline that plunged all the way down to her waist.

Elizabeth, who was flashing plenty of cleavage, also wore metallic silver shoes, and topped off her ensemble with beige lipstick and a large black clutch bag.

The younger sister of the Olsen twins was joined at the event by her boyfriend Boyd Holbrook, who starred alongside her in Very Good Girls.

She means business: Jessica Lange, who also stars in the film, looked great in a striped dress and blazer

The shaggy blonde looked hunky as he wrapped an arm around Elizabeth while sporting a blue suit with no tie and a white shirt.

Jessica Lange, 64, who also appears in the movie and has starred with Paulson in American Horror Story, showed she meant business in a brown and black striped mini-dress under a black tailored blazer.

Jennifer Westfeldt meanwhile looked younger than her 44 years in a brown strapless dress with a sheer panel across her thighs, along with silver sandals.

Suave men: True Blood’s Sam Trammell (L) dressed casually while Harry Potter alum Tom Felton looked dapper in a suit

Tom Felton, who plays Elizabeth’s husband in the film, looked suave in a midnight blue suit, black shirt and brown shoes.

In Secret follows Elizabeth as Thérèse Raquin, who is unhappily married to her repulsive cousin Camille (Felton) and living under the watchful eye of her overbearing aunt (Lange).

Sexually repressed Thérèse then embarks on an affair with Camille’s attractive friend Laurent (Oscar Isaac), in the erotic thriller, out February 21 in the US.
