Fast and Furious star Vin Diesel is known for his iconic bald style, but in one noughties film he looked totally unlike himself as he sported brunette locks to play a Mafia member

Vin Diesel looked totally unrecognisable with hair in one 2006 film – leaving Fast and Furious fans baffled.

The veteran actor is known for his iconic bald look, and in everything from the car franchise to action flicks like Bloodshot, sports the trademark style. But in one noughties flick, he looked totally different with tufts of brunette tresses.

That film is Find Me Guilty, which saw Vin Diesel star as real-life Mafia member Jackie DiNorscio. The period flick was set back in the 1980s, watching DiNorscio go through a federal racketeering trial alongside 20 other associates after spending time behind bars.

The plot follows the Mafia mob member as he decides to represent himself in the trial, which ended up the longest federal court drama in the history of the US. And eventually, DiNorscio and his associates are found not guilty. Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage also appears as Ben Klandis alongside Vin Diesel.

Despite his suave appearance in the flick, Vin actually had to wear a wig during filming – and he’s recently gone viral on apps like TikTok after his new look re-emerged. Though the brunette tresses were receding at his temples, Vin looked completely unlike himself.

One social media user penned: “Before he found out you don’t need hair when you got family.” Someone else agreed: “Yoo this ain’t real bruv!”, while another user wasn’t too keen, penning: “This movie Find Me Guilty has Vin Diesel with hair. Ewww!”

“Find Me Guilty… Vin Diesel plays an italian with a full head of blonde hair?!?” one user on X – formerly Twitter – echoed. Somebody else said: “Vin Diesel looked weird with hair lol!”

Vin has been naturally bald for years, and was even crowned the World’s Hottest Bald Man in 2022, before Prince William dethroned him in 2023. Vin came in second, with a final 𝑠e𝑥y score of 8.81 out of 10. His bald head ranked number one for “shine factor” with a score of 74%.

Vin Diesel wasn’t always bald, though – and his high school yearbook photos prove that he does have follicles, with him sporting a natural dark head of hair, back when he was still known by his real name of Mark Sinclair.

The actor decided to go by Vin Diesel professionally, taking ‘Vin’ from his step-father Irving Vincent’s last name. Diesel was his childhood nickname, which came from having a lot of energy growing up.

It proved a sensible decision, as the actor has now amassed an incredible fortune of $225million (£188m), becoming one of the highest paid action movie stars in the world. He became the third highest paid actor in the world in 2017, bringing in $54million in just 12 months.

The star married Mexican model Paloma Jimenez in 2007, welcoming three children – Hania Riley Sinclair, Vincent Sinclair and Pauline Sinclair, named in honour of his late co-star Paul Walker.

He previously told Parade: “While I was doing The Pacifier, it really started to bring out this desire to have a child. It took a couple years after that to find the right person and to hopefully be mature enough to be a great father which is really all you want to do.”
