The hitmaker, 28, donned an oversized vintage black leather coat which she paired  with black and white leather pants with an elastic waist and drawstring, and high heel boots

The Sweetest Pie singer’s long red hair was parted in the middle and styled in loose waves.

Her makeup looked natural with a touch of blush and a soft pink lip.

The New Rules singer carried a large black leather valise which Vogue identified as a classic Hermès Birkin bag.

The case was embellished with keys and other personal touches.

The artist’s Dance The Night from the Barbie soundtrack received  Grammy nominations for Song of the Year and Best Song Written for Visual Media. Both awards honor songwriters.

Mark Ronson, who produced the film’s soundtrack had high praise for the Dua’s work ethic and the way she was willing to work the song until they got it right.

‘We rewrote Dance the Night so many times to match the picture,’ the musician told Variety.

Describing the process for the joyful dance scene at Barbie’s house, he said, ‘Like, Dua was literally coming up with lyrics — “When Margot does that come-hither thing with her fingers, that’s when I want to sing “Come along for the ride,”‘ he said.

‘We actually engineered that song almost like a score,’ the composter explained.

Dua’s lyrics always have a tough edge and a hidden meaning, and they’re kind of defiant,’ the songwriter contended.

‘Like this image of 12-inch rubber boots smashing a disco ball,’ he said with a laugh.

Barbie soundtrack producer Mark Ronson was impressed with the Dance The Night singer’s work ethic. ‘We rewrote Dance the Night so many times to match the picture,’ the musician told Variety

‘Dua’s lyrics always have a tough edge and a hidden meaning, and they’re kind of defiant,’ Ronson contended. ‘I think we knew we just had to get it perfect for the film’

‘We watched the scene and we loved her [original] lyrics, they were a little more edgy and pointing more toward Barbie’s world about to fall apart 10 minutes further into the film.’

‘But it wasn’t our place to foreshadow so much, and also it just wasn’t matching up with what was happening on the screen with Barbie and everybody dancing around, having the time of their lives. So we rewrote it to serve the film.’

‘I think we knew we just had to get it perfect for the film,’ he stated.

The Grammy Awards were set to take place February 4.
