Ice cream flavors are often, surprisingly, a highly debated topic between K-Pop idols and among fans, as many have shared their love of controversial flavors, including the infamous mint chocolate or cherry jubilee, while just as many have shown fierce detest of such flavors.
Rosé identified herself as a fan of the “controversial” mint-choco flavor and also shared that she likes rainbow sherbert. While defending her love of mint chocolate, a fan replied with an unexpected flavor that had a few netizens raising their eyebrows.
A fan mentioned cilantro (or coriander) ice cream, which had the BLACKPINK member wondering where she could purchase the unique flavor.
- “I like mint chocolate”
- “Where can I get some cilantro ice cream?”
- “Cilantro ice cream? Wow…”
- “What do you mean why? Because it’s tasty”
- “It tasted good to me”
She then recalled that she had tried it once before and found it “really delicious,” but couldn’t remember where she had it.
One fan mentioned that it was available at McDonald’s. The divisive flavor was released as a sundae for a limited time at the global restaurant chain’s locations in China in 2022, with green lemon and cilantro topping served over vanilla ice cream.

- “I’m not making stuff up, am I? But I think I’ve tried cilantro ice cream before… I remember it being delicious!.. Seriously, seriously”
- “They sell it at McDonald’s??”
Fans expressed their shock at Rosé’s favored ice cream flavors, with some understanding the unique choices while others hilariously couldn’t believe she liked both mint chocolate and cilantro ice cream.
