Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were very affectionate during their visit to a Christmas bar in Kansas City, Missouri, over the weekend. First, proof came in the form of a photo where Swift was kissing Kelce’s cheek, posted by his barber, Patrick Regan, on Instagram. Now, a second photo of Swift and Kelce passionately kissing on the lips that night has gone viral on social media. See the shot here. What makes it even more striking is that the couple was kissing while posing with a third person. Fans shared the full frame of the shot on social media; any third wheel can relate to it.
Swift returned to New York City on Tuesday, while Kelce stayed in Kansas City. It’s unclear whether Kelce will travel to New York to meet Swift for her birthday today; Us Weekly reported earlier this week that he was planning to throw her a birthday party there. “[He] wants to throw the best party possible” for his girlfriend, and “money is not an object,” one source told Us.
Meanwhile, Swift was photographed out with Selena Gomez, Miles Teller, and Keleigh Sperry last night in Manhattan.
Swift spoke to Time in an interview published last week about why she doesn’t mind being so public with Kelce, whom she has been dating since the summer.
“This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast [in July], which I thought was metal as hell,” she pointed out. “We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other. By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she continued. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
