DAVID Beckham is taking his love of the countryside to the next level by submitting plans to build a garage for his fleet of tractors.
The retired footballer, 46, has filed for permission to add a double garage to the grounds of his £6million Cotswolds home exclusively for his garden toys.

His application states: “The proposed garden machinery store is to be used solely in association with the main dwelling house.
“It will serve as a machinery store for tractors, lawn mowers and other machinery required to manage the garden and grounds”
Becks is also keen to add a wooden office to the property, which blends seamlessly into the surrounding countryside.

He might own lumbering tractors, but the dad-of-four still has a keen eye for a flash car.
The ex-England captain recently teamed up with high-end car brand Maserati for a brand new ad campaign.
The Beckham family split their time between London, Miami and the Cotswolds, the latter of which was their choice for lockdown living.

The sprawling home’s kitchen has long tables, gorgeous stone floors and an Aga oven, with doors leading to a vast outdoor eating area.
The garden also features a plunge pool that sits outside their country barn conversion.
And there are lots of options for exercise, with a huge treadmill, a football pitch and even a lake in the works.
