Acing motherhood! Serena Williams spends time with her daughter Olympia after a practice session at Wimbledon, while her husband Alexis is in care of hair style

Serena Williams has been seen carrying around her 22-month-old daughter in between competing at Wimbledon this year.

The American tennis player played Slovenia’s Kaja Juvan in a Women’s singles match during day four of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships in London, Thursday.

But when she wasn’t on the court, the 37-year-old stayed close to Olympia Alexis, her little girl with Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian.

Williams was seen walking with a small team that consisted of her tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou, as the toddler sat on her hip and clung to her Nike outfit following her practice session.

On Friday Williams shared a snap of herself on the court in her tennis whites

On Friday, Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian posted a picture of himself with his daughter and captioned it: ‘I swear I’m getting better at this… Meanwhile @olympiaohanian is over here like, “um, Mama, little help?”‘

There was no sign of her husband Ohanian as Williams clutched her cell phone in the hand that wasn’t propping up her daughter.

But the mother had help guiding Olympia’s pushchair and was encouraged to hydrate with a bottle of water as her entourage strolled around the SW19 area.

While it seems Williams had no problem juggling matches at the annual tournament as she remained hands-on with her childcare, it looked like the hectic schedule was beginning to get a little tiring for Olympia.

The adorable child wore colorful dress and denim shorts with socks and metallic sandals as she joined her mother at work.

With 582,000 followers on her own Instagram page run by Williams, Olympia is likely used to the spotlight.

Her page showcases her life on the road with her famous parents, including hanging out with tennis stars and her appearance at Wimbledon last year.

Later on Friday, Ohanian suggested Williams was better at child care as he shared a snap of himself with Olympia on Instagram.

He captioned it: ‘I swear I’m getting better at this… Meanwhile @olympiaohanian is over here like, “um, Mama, little help?”‘

The seven-time champion was preparing to face the 18th-seeded German Julia Goerges in the third round on No. 1 Court on Saturday morning

Williams played Julia Goerges on Centre Court in the Wimbledon 2018 semifinals and the seven-time champion will face the 18th-seeded German in the third round on No. 1 Court on Saturday morning.

Williams beat Goerges in straight sets last year, but then lost to Angelique Kerber in the final. If Williams wins the title at the end of next week, she will earn her record-tying 24th Grand Slam singles title.

Ohanian was cheering in the stand for his wife earlier this week.

Williams has had support from her friend Meghan Markle this year. The Duchess of Sussex looked in high spirits as she could be seen cheering from the crowd alongside her friends from Northwestern University, Genevieve Hills and Lindsay Roth.

The group stood up from their seats and clapped as Williams defeated Juvan, 2-6, 6-2, 6-4.

Williams, who became friends with Meghan after meeting her at a charity football match in 2014, was a guest at her wedding to Harry in May 2018 and is rumored to be one of Archie’s godmothers.

In 2018, Serena said: ‘We’ve always had a wonderful friendship. Every year for a couple of years she comes out to Wimbledon and supported me. Now she’s supporting me in a different role. But our friendship is still exactly the same.’

She added: ‘If there was a Wimbledon royalty, I would like to believe I would be Wimbledon royalty because I’ve done pretty well here in the past.’

Earlier this week, Williams, 37, said she would wait until Archie was three months old before offering ‘words of wisdom’.

The tennis star, who gave birth to her daughter Olympia in 2017, was asked if she had offered advice to Meghan since Archie’s arrival in May.

She said: ‘I never pass on words of wisdom, because I feel like everyone when they have a kid, especially when you’ve just had a baby, it’s so difficult to just be.’
