Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will be released in April this year. Closer to the release date, Toei Animation has teased some information that makes the audience speculate about the characters that will appear in this film. Many fans are looking forward to meeting Cell in this movie.
With Frieza and Broly being brought into the franchise through their own film, many fans are wondering whether Cell could return to the story.
Cell has untapped potential
Cell, the 21st and final creation of Dr. Gero of the Red Ribbon Army, represents the pinnacle of human achievement through science. Cell possesses superior power compared to androids 17 and 18.
Cell is a combination of the strongest warrior cells in the universe. Author Akira Toriyama has implied that Cell possesses Tien’s cells, meaning he has complete access to the ultimate Earthling, Evil Containment Wave or Mafuba.
As an Earthling hybrid, Cell also has the potential to harness the power of ikari, or rage. Gohan and Trunks both demonstrated the power that ikari brings when transforming into Super Saiyan 2 to fight villains like Raditz, Zamasu and even Goku Black. So, if Cell shows his rage, he can multiply his power many times over.
Cell has the potential power of a Saiyan
Cell has the genetic code of both Goku and Vegeta, so the possibility of him becoming a Super Saiyan cannot be ruled out. Even Cell has the ability to multiply his power many times higher than the Super Saiyan 3 level. There are many conjectures that Cell has the ability to become Super Saiyan Blue Cell.
