They are separated by 17 years, but have been long-time friends

Over the years, Drake‘s friendship with Millie Bobby Brown has often been scrutinised and criticised because of the age difference between the 36-year-old rapper and the 19-year-old actress.

They have been friends for almost six years now, as they started texting when the ‘Stranger Things’ and ‘Enola Holmes’ lead was 14, prompting many to brand their friendship as inappropriate.

Drake’s song lyric about Millie Bobby Brown

It appears that the Canadian Grammy winner has finally had enough of the whispers and comments, referencing the actress’s name on a song in his latest album ‘For All the Dogs’.

“Weirdos in my comments talkin’ ’bout some Millie Bobby, look, bring them jokes up to the gang, we get to really flockin’,” he raps in ‘Another Late Night’.

“Or send a finger to your mama in some FedEx boxes.

“Open up that s**t, it’s jaw droppin’, really shockin’.”

The aggressive language seems to indicate what he thinks of discussion on the matter of his relationship with the young actress, who became an adult in 2021.

Brown has also shared her distaste of the comments, although she refrains from violent imagery.

“Why u gotta make a lovely friendship ur headline? U guys are weird,” she previously wrote on Instagram.

“For real. I’m lucky to have people in the business extend their time to help me further my career and offer their wisdom and guidance.”

When is ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5?

Season five of the hit Netflix show concluded with Eleven (Bobby Brown) finally confronting the villainous Vecna in an attempt to save her friends.

It featured the tragic close to Eddie Munson‘s season arc, but fans will have to wait until Fall 2024 to discover the impact on the gang.

It is expected to be the final season of the show, which has run since 2016.
