In his sharing with fans on New Year’s Day, J-Hope said he was satisfied with the past year 2023 and looked forward to the new year 2024 with excitement.
During the transition between the old year and the new year, BTS member J-Hope posted a long message on the global fan community Weverse. J-Hope started his share by saying, “There isn’t much time left in 2023. I came here to greet everyone.”
“I focused on many different activities before enlisting,” J-Hope continued. “I attended individual award ceremonies, composed music, and lived intensely before enlisting.”
According to J-Hope, he is about to be discharged from the army with an expected discharge date of October 17. J-Hope said: “As a soldier, I have been running for 9 months, preparing to welcome the year of discharge. I can’t wait to show you another great version of myself.”
J-Hope continued, “I miss all of you so much and I also miss the group members.”
J-Hope also shared updates about his military service. “Before going to bed, I have many thoughts and see different dreams. Diligently fulfilling my duty to protect the country will make the start of 2024 even stronger.”
Finally, J-Hope concluded: “The year 2023 has definitely been supported and supported by all of you. Please receive lots of blessings in the new year, ARMY (BTS fandom name) and members.” Please always be happy and healthy. I love you.”
Currently, all members of BTS, including J-Hope, are in the process of completing their military service. BTS is expected to have a full comeback in 2025.
