On January 8, Idol Chart announced the survey “Which star will stand out the most in the new year 2024” conducted from January 1 to January 7, 2024.
According to the survey results, Jin won first place by receiving 69,376 votes from the audience out of a total of 167,140 votes (approximately 42% voting rate).
Meanwhile, Lee Byeong-chan took second place with 67,657 votes (vote ratio about 40%).
Following are Lee Solomon (17,654 votes), Ahn Sung-hoon (4,136 votes), Kim Hee-jae (1,860 votes), Ha Sung-woon (1,829 votes), Sung Si-kyung (978 votes), Kang Daniel (954 votes). votes), (G)I-DLE (533 votes), Kim Ki-tae (516 votes).
Notably, the Blackpink girls received quite a low number of votes. Accordingly, Blackpink only received 403 votes – a far cry from the votes of Jin BTS.
The group NewJeans alone received 396 votes, Lee Seung-yoon (208 votes), ENHYPEN (173 votes), LE SSERAFIM (163 votes), SEVENTEEN (130 votes), aespa (90 votes), DAY6 (70 votes) and Kim Woo-seok (14 votes).
In addition to this survey, currently, Idol Chart is also conducting another survey with the topic “2024 Gapjin Year” – which star will top the search rankings?
BTS (including RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) had a hiatus while they were in the military. All members are performing military service, and they plan to resume full group activities in 2025.
Among the BTS members, Jin is the first to enlist and is serving as a military instructor, and will be discharged next June. Therefore, this is the reason why it is said that he will have outstanding activities in 2024.
As for the Blackpink girls this year, experts predict that they will focus on solo development instead of group activities, so the low number of audience votes is not difficult to understand.
